Pioneer Park Campground is located in northeast Washington on the Pend Oreille River. Visitors enjoy hiking, fishing, boating and swimming. The campground's proximity to the city of Newport provides urban entertainment opportunities as well.

  • Campfire in developed fire ring only        
  • Fireworks are prohibited
  • Pets must be on leash       
  • OHV use prohibited in the campground          
  • Maximum length of stay: 14 days       
  • Food and wildlife attractants must be properly stored at all times

  • Camping: 50% discount for single site camping fees, with any of these passes: Interagency Senior, Interagency Access, Golden Age and Golden Access.
  • Day use: $52 Concessionaire Season Pass accepted. No other recreation passes honored.

General Information

Directions:

From downtown Newport: travel east on U.S. Highway 2 for 0.75 miles. Immediately after crossing the Pend Oreille River bridge, turn left on South LeClerc Road and travel 2 miles north to the campground entrance.
