Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon sits on a curve of the Skagit River and is halfway between Seattle and Vancouver BC. It is known for it’s annual Tulip Festival Street Fair, and was rated the #1 “Best Small City in America” by the New Rating Guide to Life in America’s Small Cities.

Recreation includes 50 + trails (for walking and biking)  including the Kiwanis Park Boardwalk, Kulshan Trail, Little Mountain Trails, and Eaglemount Trail to name a few. Mount Vernon is loaded with city parks, like Bakerview Park, Edgewater Park, Hillcrest Park, and more!

There is also fishing, boating, camping spots, beautiful gardens, golf and scenic driving.
