Sandman Tugboat

The SANDMAN Foundation restores and preserves the SANDMAN tugboat as a registered Historic Property and as a part of Puget Sound maritime history. The 105-year-old vessel is listed on The National Register of Historic Places (Vessels) and The Washington State Historic Register; it is listed as a Historic Site by the City of Olympia. The Foundation makes the boat available as a free-floating museum and local historic landmark. It also makes the vessel available for civic events and duties as may be deemed appropriate by the Governing Board and attends maritime events throughout the Puget Sound area.
