Vashon Island

Just a short ferry ride from Seattle, Kitsap County or Tacoma, takes you to the unique town of Vashon Island. Filled with beautiful beaches, charming accommodations, great restaurants, art and shops. Vashon is incredibly bike friendly, you can bring your bike on the ferry, all the Vashon buses have bike racks, and lots of the businesses have bike racks or spaces to park your bike.  

Year round events include the Riptide Luminary Walk, the Strawberry Festival, Vashon Cider Fest, and the eclectic Islewild Festival in which artists from all over the PNW spend months creating giant puppets and preparing a live action show.

Vashon also has many rustic and fun lodging options like the Cornerstone Farm and Dairy, AYH Ranch Lavender Duck Inn, Lavender Hill Farm, Maury Cottage, Last Resort Guest House and more!
