Washougal
Washougal is bordered by the Columbia and Washougal Rivers, and was home of some of the earliest American settlers. Today the Washougal area is filled with parks, hiking trails, and downtown offers plenty of shopping, the Two Rivers Heritage Museum, and community events year round.
Take the pedestrian tunnel from downtown to the Columbia River for fishing at Steamboats Landing, or hiking to Captain William Clark Park, which has 85 acres of walk paths, picnic tables and covered cooking areas. Other recreational activities include kayaking, fishing and swimming.
