Everett Festivals

Summer is the perfect time to visit Everett when you can catch some incredible events and festivals that are fun for the whole family. Kick off the season and celebrate the best parts of Pacific Northwest outdoor living at Sorticulture, the premier festival for garden art, local plants and flowers and handmade outdoor products held the second weekend in June.

Join the party on the Fourth of July with live music, great food, a beer garden and more, all leading up to the killer fireworks show over the bay. And save the dates: On July 9 and 10 downtown Everett will be transformed with hundreds of basketball courts for an all-new 3 on 3 basketball tournament.

In August, you won’t want to miss the Everett Food Truck Festival and Upper Left BeerFest where you can sip, savor and shop. Also in August is Fresh Paint – a high-end art show where you can not only browse beautiful works of art from local artists, but you’ll actually see artists at work and can take a piece home fresh off the easel.

Funko

But no matter when you visit, Everett’s historic and walkable downtown is the perfect place to start your adventures. Wander the tree- and art-lined streets to discover something new at the many unique shops filled with one-of-a-kind, handmade gifts and keepsakes. Or head to Funko, maker of the famous Funko Pop! figurines. Their Everett HQ store is equal parts Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory/Disneyland-without-the-rides where you’ll find giant replicas of Funko Pops. Larger-than-life Hagrid from Harry Potter, Frozen’s Elsa and Luke Skywalker make for a great photo op for kiddos and kiddos at heart.

On Sundays in May through October, local farmers, makers and artisans line downtown streets offering their finest and delicious creations at the Everett Farmers Market. Browse, shop and taste and don’t forget to grab some goodies for a picnic.

After your tour of downtown, you can walk within a two-block radius to great coffee and delicious bites and brews. Craft beer lovers will love the selection of local bars and breweries where you can have a drink and unwind.
